All our Parish families may receive a fully licensed copy of the Gospel Champions 2007-2008 game - at no cost.
Gospel Champions puts your child in the Gospel stories proclaimed at Mass throughout the year ... they participate in a new story each month ... bringing the Gospel to life.
Best of all, the game is sequenced with the lectionary! Each month the game presents a new Gospel story from one of the readings in the Mass. So kids hear it in mass and play it at home!
There are three difficulty settings -- making it suitable for all children from grades K through 8. Each Gospel story in the game includes:
- a recreation of the Gospel setting and story ...
- tasks and puzzles that reinforce the story and works of mercy ...
- four age-appropriate Catholic prayers and teachings ...
- a Faith Focus, which summarizes the Gospel message ...
- a Question of the Month, which challenges children to apply the Gospel message ...
- a Saint of the Month, which presents the inspired lives of our Saints
