Our teachers striving to imitate the Master teacher, Jesus Christ, are dedicated to the spiritual, moral, academic and physical development of each child. All students are valued as a child of God and guided to discover their own unique talent and encouraged to share that gift with others. This recognition and devotion to service promotes high self-esteem and provides a strong foundation for spiritual and moral formation.
Our academic programs follow both State and Diocesan Curriculum Standards. All teachers are degreed and participate in state policy of 100 hours of professional development over 5 years. This ongoing process allows our teachers to be aware of the latest practices in education and has ensured Terra Nova Scores above the National Percentile on all grade levels and subject areas.

First, the students will be "Champions for Christ". School wide, we will focus on a particular saint each month and encourage our students to imitate that saint in their daily behavior.
To promote the theme of "One World One People" each class will study various world cultures and share what they have learned with their families and the community. Major world cultures as opposed to individual countries will be the focus of this activity. Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Asian, African and Pacific Islanders are the cultures our children will study this year.
Becoming aware of different
traditions, religious practices, music, dance, food and all things involved in the
many areas of this vast world will lead our children to a respect for all people.
Giving them knowledge of the richness of other peoples will promote understanding
that will lead to peace and respect. We at
